My Indexer1 has a seed ratio of 2, and others have seed ratio off 1. I’ve got this working previously (unintentionally), but can’t get it to work anymore.

What is ratio in a torrent Ratio is the fraction of amount of data you download vs amount of data you upload. They are different from seeders because seeders seed the file even after the download is complete. Hope I made myself clear (English is not my native language).] How can I have Indexer1’s seed ratio be 2, while standard Indexer2, 3, 4 seed ratio be 1 when it sends it to deluge. As the file starts downloading the client will start uploading the file as well, making it a seeder as well as a leecher.

Our crowd-sourced lists contains more than 50 apps similar to Deluge for Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and more. It is also a function known as thin client mode where it handles all your torrenting activity in the background of your machine while you try connecting it from. The best Deluge alternatives are qBittorrent, Transmission and Torrent. I'm new to Deluge, coming from uTorrent, but with Deluge, I can't figure out a way to stop seeding my torrents, I've done what google says and went into Preferences, Que, and switched everything to 0, but for some reason 'Stop seeding when share ratio reaches 0.50' can't go under 0.50 no matter what. You must set the proxy options for all four types (Peer, Web Seed, Tracker, DHT) to: Set Type to HTTP Set Host to: 127.0.0. Click Proxy on the left side of the Preferences dialog.

15 of my seeding torrents don't have peers at this moment, so their upload speed is 0 KB/s, as they are uploading nothing on the other hand, 17 of my queued torrents have lots of peers to upload to, but they are NOT uploading because they need to wait the queue cycle.Īt this point of my understanding, it looks like I'm operating at a non-optimal situation, as the 15 seeding torrents that don't have peers could open up space to the ones that have peers, but are queueing.Īnother example situation that bothers me is: if I have 3 active torrents uploading at fast speeds, and then their cycle end what will happen? Will they stop uploading and start queueing, giving their position to other 3 torrents that may be don't even have peers to upload to? This would really prejudice my private tracker's ratio, as I could keep uploading some good torrents instead of stopping them to free up space to other torrents that won't even upload. Basically Deluge is a fully functional cross-platform Bittorrent client, it is designed in such a way that it can both run as a desktop application as well as remote client-server. In the Deluge menu, go to Edit and then Preferences.

torrent files loaded on Deluge, but my Active Torrents setting is at 20, so I end up with 50 queued and 20 seeding torrents. I'd like to give an example: I have about 70.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me an overall explanation.Īlso, I'm setting up a Raspberry Pi seedbox (running Raspbian), and I'd like to know what is the best Queue settings: should I max out active torrents (some value like 999), or use some value like 20~30 and then cycle queue the rest of the torrents? I've read that queueing can help overall upload speeds, but I don't know if this information is relevant for a Seedbox config. I can't quite understand how Queue settings work. Seed Time Ratio: This one was not originally very clear to me, but I found out from another forum it basically means, if time seeding/time downloaded > this amount, then set torrent to queued status Example, if it takes 10 minutes to download a torrent, and you have this set at 7.
